Doug FrydayDoug was a Licensed General Contractor (B-1) and (C-33) Painting and Decorating License from 1981-2023. He was educated at the University of Redlands (1969-1970), 1974-1975 UC Davis, and 1994-98 Dominican University, San Rafael, CA. He’s a published author (2005). Doug had a long history of political activism and involvement with a number of non-profits. From 1978-1982 he was involved in legal efforts related to the 1978 occupation of the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant and was acquitted in 1982 in the LA Superior Court. In 1982-1986 he was a Founder, Secretary, and Board Member of the Earth Regeneration Society, the first grass-roots organization in the US dealing with climate change. In the mid 2010’s Doug was a Board Member and President of the Museum of the American Indian in Novato CA. He first joined Homeless Action Sonoma in the early days as a Board Member, then left and just returned in February 2024. He enjoys his 5 grandsons, sports, camping, cooking, writing, and current events. He lived in the Philippines from 1957-1961.
